The "OFFSHORE
HUNTER" (formerly the 5-Hole):
The "OFFSHORE HUNTER" is an Armstrong
34-foot aluminum Catamaran with a Walk-around Pilothouse
and boasts a 12 foot beam. It is powered by twin 310
horsepower Volvo diesel engines and accelerates to a top
speed of 44 kts. The smooth-riding catamaran design
allows us to cruise at 34-36 kts in all but the worst seas.
This ensures that we will be spending more of our time fishing
than traveling to the fishing grounds like many of the other
vessels in the fleet. In fact, the OFFSHORE HUNTER is the
fastest Charter boat in the harbor. The vessel is Coast
Guard certified for up to 18 passengers, however for fishing,
only groups of 12 or less will be booked. The OFFSHORE
HUNTER is equipped with a bathroom, state of the art electronics,
top of the line rods, reels and tackle, and the safety equipment
aboard exceeds U.S. Coast Guard requirements. In fact, both
of our vessels are among the safest in the fleet, meeting
or exceeding all USCG safety regulations.
The "DREAMWEAVER"
Designed and built in the Pacific Northwest, the 26-foot
C-Dory Pro-Angler, the DREAMWEAVER, is well suited to the
fishing and weather conditions in Seward. The C-Dory’s design
includes a heavy, deep-V hull, wide-open decks, a warm dry
cabin which seats 6 comfortably, several large fish holds,
an aft helm station and a private head. The DREAMWEAVER
also boasts a very desirable Walk-Around Pilothouse.
It is one of only a handful
of Walk-Around Pilothouse vessels produced by C-Dory, allowing
us to fish 6 customers around the whole boat instead of
crowding everyone on the back deck. This makes for a very
comfortable day on the water. We have recently fitted the
Dreamweaver with electric downriggers for targeting the
large King Salmon, which feed year-around in the fertile
Alaska North Gulf Coast areas that we fish.
The "Just-In-Time"
Designed and built in the Pacific Northwest, the 27-foot
Sea Sport, JUSTIN-TIME, is well suited to the fishing and
weather conditions in Seward. The Sea Sport’s design includes
a heavy, deep-V hull, wide-open decks, a warm dry cabin
which seats 6 comfortably, a huge fish hold, and a private
head. The JUSTIN-TIME is also a fast vessel allowing us
to reach the fishing grounds quickly so you spend more time
fishing than traveling to and from.
Both of our vessels are
equipped with VHF radios, as well as commercial quality
GPS plotters, color depth sounders and radar. All of these
features allow our vessels to share up to date information
on fishing conditions, as well as tide data and weather
information, to make your day more productive.
